Job Description:
My School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics with excellent classroom management skills who is capable of teaching outstanding lessons across the age range for a popular Secondary Teacher in the Cardiff area. The post is to cover long term sick absence and will include teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to be permanent. They would like to have any potential candidate come into the school before starting the placement to chat with the head of department.To succeed in the role you will have:A degree, or equivalent experience, with a teaching qualification in MathsA strong track record of outstanding teaching, with first class classroom management skillsThe ability to work in collaboration with other members of staff to further the departmentExceptional personal organisation and time management skillsA firm understanding of key national and educational policies and issuesThe ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgroundsA clear commitment to improving your own and others' performance through effective continuous professional developmentAll posts are subject to pre-employment checks, two references will be sought and successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check (DBS), medical clearance and provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK and evidence of qualifications.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.for further discussion on this position and any other that you may be interested in please contact Chloe on .
