Job Description:
Our client, is a successful Engineer company based in Lincolnshire. They are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to work from their site in Lincoln. Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures with the highest standards of workmanship and professionalismExperience working with machinery and mechanical equipment such as: motors, pneumatic/hydraulic components, steam systems and production equipment; as well as experience reading diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturers specificationsUsing hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring and testing instrumentsRespond to all maintenance issues throughout the plant and perform other duties as required Person Specification: Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and fabricationExperience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and working with PLC`s, HMI`s, A/C & D/C motors, drives, encoders, resolvers, control systems, bearings, gearboxes, drive systems etc.Must be able to read maintenance schematics / blueprintsExperience diagnosing mechanical systems using various toolsMust be willing to work in high or confined spacesAbility to use computer-based systems and software Experience Must have 3+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial, manufacturing or military environment Further information: 37 hrs per week (Mon to Thu 0730-1600 (30 mins lunch break) / Fri 0730-1230)Overtime as requiredRate: up to £13 / hour (dependent on experience)Pension scheme (matched up to 8%)Employee Assistance Programme25 days holiday pro rata (plus statutory) If you would like to apply for this position, please reply with your CV.
